About Us...
Andrew Klose Engineering started trading in 1979, originally repairing agricultural and plant machinery; over the years expanding into steel fabrication, manufacture of replacement parts for machines, machine modifications and conversions and purpose made equipment. 1986/87 saw the development of our first rotary cleaner designed to fit onto a flail mower arm and used for cleaning grips. These first machines proved very reliable, efficient and, from the users? and customers? point of view, very cost effective. In 1992/93, after pressure from a potential customer, we developed the idea of a ditch cleaner based on similar principals to the grip cleaner and in 1994 sold the first machine. The manufacturing part of our business still runs alongside the day-to-day engineering work, conversions, one offs and remanufacturing that we do. Currently we deal direct with our customers for sales and spare parts, because over the years, we have accumulated a great deal of information and experience of fitting and the use of the ditch cleaning machines in agricultural and roadside working environments. We feel it is important that this information and expertise is available to potential and existing customers. We continue to develop the ditch cleaner and its optional equipment to make the machine more versatile and productive, while also working on other products to increase the potential uses of flail arm mowers.
